Letter of Intent to Apply
Project Title: Community Service Block Program

Our proposal will promote self-suffiency by addressing the current problem of a lack of adequate employment in our four counties we serve. Gaston Community Action, Inc. has developed an approach that will benefit the community, both by providing job search assistance, budgeting training, education assistance, housing assistance, and direct assistance to aid families during their search for jobs. Our focus will be on helping families achieve income above the federal income poverty guideline. Referrals will also be utilized to give a comprehensive approach to servicing families.

We anticipate that our proposal for all four counties can be implemented for a cost of $ 85,974.
