Head Start Application & Enrollment Process

NOTE: Completing the application does not guarantee your child’s enrollment. Enrollment is based on space availability and eligibility.

If you do not have access or have issues completing the application online, you may visit one of the Head Start sites listed below:

Completing the Head Start Application is a 3-step process.

Step 1
On the left side of the screen, click on Head Start Pre-Registration Application for the GoEngage application link. Application is in English and Spanish.

Step 2
When you complete the GoEngage application, GoEngage will automatically send you a thank you email. Once the application is received the Data Tech will send you an email with the links to upload required documents. The email will come from GoEngage. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox. If you don’t receive the link within 24-48, please contact the Data Tech at 704-861-2283 Ext. 205.

Step 3
Once the required documents are uploaded, the Data Tech will process the application. Your child’s name will be added to the waitlist.

NOTE: Enrollment is based upon space availability and eligibility. If your child is eligible and space is available you will be contacted by a Family Advocate to move forward with the Enrollment process. You will only be contacted if there is an available slot. Due to the number of applications we receive, prospective families on our waitlist who are not selected will be removed at the end of the school year and will have to re-apply the following year.
